POSITION SUMMARY
The PACU RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and supervises individual patient care in the unit according to standards of practice and departmental policies and procedures. He/She accepts responsibility for post anesthesia nursing care and implementation of individualized care plans. The PACU nurse assumes responsibility to maintain professional standards and educational requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Must possess active/unrestricted RN licensure in the state ofKentucky
2. 2 years Critical Care and/or PACU experience required.
3. BSN Preferred
4. ACLS and PALS preferred
