POSITION SUMMARY
The Nurse Manager works under supervision of the Director of the Unit. Serves as a professional role model, leader, mentor, and clinical resource/educator for the Charge Nurses and other members of the health care team. Assists in developing goals and objectives with the staff based on analysis of targeted outcome measures of clinical and managerial processes. Improves operational excellence for patients related to cost, quality, service, and patient outcomes. Is a liaison to internal and external customers including physicians. Participates in business development activities. Assists the Director with budget development, monitoring and variance analysis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be a graduate of a program of professional nursing. A baccalaureate degree or working toward degree is
required. Psychiatric Nurse and Chemical Dependency certification preferred.
2. Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
3. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform all functions involved in CPR, and hold current CPR
certification.
4. Minimum of (3) years of leadership/management experience in an acute care setting
5. Knowledge of administrative and clinical system, skills in system development and implementation, evidence of
excellent personnel management, communication skills and fiscal management, knowledge of quality
management and performance improvement strategies and tools
6. Must have minimum of (5) years of experience as a professional nurse.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
