JOB SUMMARYUnder the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager this position will provide general clerical support for Laboratory Services Dept.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Filing all necessary paperwork and chartsAnswer the phone in a timely and courteous mannerProcesses and accession blood and body fluids for testingCopy, compile and maintain records as requiredAssists in calling ordering facilities for samples needing recollected.
All other clerical duties as assignedEDUCATION/LICENSE/ CERTIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTSMinimum requirement:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Must type 35 correct words per minutePreferred

N/AWORKING ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in a professional office environment The noise levels in the environment are usually low Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicalsPHYSICAL DEMANDSOccasionally required to maintain a stationary position (standing or sitting)Frequently required to walk and move aboutFrequently required to operate a computer and other equipmentConstantly required to communicate with physicians and other care team requiring talking and hearing Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color PI239465608About the Company:
